I got clean and sober in 1994 and discovered kink in 1997.  My first scene was me reciting the twelve steps and whenever I missed a word, I got flogged.  For someone who had kicked heroin, crack, cocaine, and alcohol, finding kink was both a spiritual awakening and an incredibly satisfying way to get high.  I enjoy floggers, impact, hook pulls, and sarcasm; have been a card-carrying member of The Exiles since 1998; and have topped, bottomed, and switched mid-scene. 

 

I lived in San Francisco for 30 years and have played in probably every dungeon in the city.  In 2015 I moved to Oakland, bought a house, and established The Altar to Black Kink in October 2021.  My dining room is a play space and it gets regular use.

You know what else should get regular use?  Your writing.

Kink can be a space for pleasure, joy, and fun.  but it's also more than that:  a playground for self-discovery, empowerment, naming our truths, and the expansion freedom that only a strong container can bring.  that's where the writing comes in....
